Enova Logix – Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions set out the binding agreement between the customer and Enova Logix, Inc., a registered and bonded auto transportation brokerage company operating under USDOT 4374737 and MC 1714022. By booking a shipment with Enova Logix, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. General Terms
1.1 Role of Enova Logix
Enova Logix functions strictly as a broker. We arrange transportation for your vehicle(s) with properly licensed and insured carriers. By authorizing Enova Logix to handle your shipment, you allow us to match your vehicle with an available carrier. However, because we do not control carrier schedules, driver availability, or unforeseen events (such as traffic, weather, or breakdowns), Enova Logix cannot guarantee exact pickup or delivery times.
1.2 Updates and Tracking
We do not provide real-time GPS tracking. Updates are manually obtained from the carrier and passed on to you. Delays caused by weather, traffic, mechanical issues, or other unexpected circumstances are always possible.
1.3 Accessibility
Door-to-door service is available only if the carrier's truck can legally and safely access both pickup and delivery addresses. If access is restricted, you agree to meet the carrier at a nearby safe location such as a parking lot, service station, or rest stop.
1.4 Inoperable Vehicles
If your vehicle is non-running or blocked in a way that prevents access, you are responsible for arranging and paying for any towing required to make the vehicle accessible.
1.5 Use of Photos
Photos of your vehicle may be taken by the carrier or provided by you. Enova Logix may use such images for quality assurance, marketing, or educational purposes, but will not share personal details or identifying information.
1.6 Refusal to Accept Delivery
If you or your representative are unavailable or unwilling to receive the vehicle upon delivery, the carrier may store the vehicle at a local facility at your expense. Storage fees and related costs are solely your responsibility.
1.7 Insurance Verification
Enova Logix verifies that each carrier we contract has active cargo and liability insurance as required by the FMCSA.
2. Communication
2.1 Office Hours
We are available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM EST, and weekends from 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM EST, via phone, email, SMS, and live chat.
2.2 Notifications
We may contact you by phone, SMS, or email to provide updates, request information, or confirm scheduling. In urgent cases, we may contact you outside standard hours.
2.3 Information Sharing
We may share your contact details with assigned carriers or their representatives as needed to coordinate pickup and delivery.
2.4 Respectful Communication
We maintain a professional environment and ask that customers and staff communicate respectfully at all times.
3. Pricing & Additional Fees
3.1 Quote Validity
Quotes are valid for 5 days and intended for shipments scheduled within 10 days of receiving the quote. Prices may change if scheduling extends beyond this period.
3.2 Included Services
All quoted prices include door-to-door transport (where accessible), insurance, tolls, and taxes. There are no hidden fees.
3.3 Dry Run Fee
If a carrier arrives as scheduled but cannot load or unload due to incorrect information or unavailability, a "dry run" fee (up to $200) may apply.
3.4 Detention Fee
If the carrier is delayed at pickup or delivery due to customer-related issues, a detention fee (up to $75/hour) may apply.
3.5 Delay Costs
Enova Logix is not liable for costs associated with delays such as rental cars, lodging, parking, lost auction bids, or rescheduled travel.
3.6 TWIC Access
Shipments requiring Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) access may incur higher rates due to limited driver availability.
4. Estimated Timeframes
4.1 Standard Vehicles
For most standard vehicles, carriers are usually assigned within 1–5 business days of the first available pickup date you provide.
4.2 Specialty Vehicles
For specialty vehicles (motorcycles, RVs, heavy equipment, etc.), carrier assignment may take 1–7 business days.
4.3 Expedited Service
Expedited pickup with guaranteed dates may be available upon request for an additional fee.
5. Payment
5.1 Payment Requirements
All shipments must be paid in full before pickup.
5.2 Processing Fees
Credit card and PayPal payments are subject to a 4% processing fee.
5.3 Card Verification
Card payments require verification (name must match driver's license).
5.4 Check Payments
Payment by check must clear prior to pickup.
5.5 Alternative Payments
Cash or certified funds may be paid directly to the carrier upon delivery if agreed beforehand.
5.6 Payment Disputes
Payment disputes or chargebacks are not permitted once transport is confirmed, as Enova Logix serves only as the broker.
6. Inspections & Personal Items
6.1 Vehicle Details
Customers must provide accurate vehicle details (make, model, condition, modifications, etc.). Misrepresentation may lead to additional charges or cancellation.
6.2 Loose Parts
Loose parts must be removed or secured before transport.
6.3 Bill of Lading
Vehicle condition is documented on a Bill of Lading (BOL) at pickup and delivery. Both parties must sign this document, which serves as proof of condition.
6.4 Personal Items
Up to 100 lbs. of personal items may be shipped inside the trunk or below window level at no extra cost. Excess weight may incur a fee of $1 per pound.
6.5 Personal Item Liability
Personal items are transported at your own risk and are not covered by carrier insurance.
7. Liability
7.1 Personal Items
Enova Logix is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items inside the vehicle.
7.2 Mechanical Issues
Mechanical issues (engine, transmission, brakes, etc.) are not covered by the carrier's insurance. Only external body damage noted on the BOL at delivery is considered for claims.
7.3 Damage Claims
Damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
7.4 Acts of God
Carriers are not liable for damage caused by "acts of God" (natural disasters, storms, floods, etc.).
7.5 Insurance Claims
Enova Logix does not provide its own insurance and is not a party to damage claims. Claims must be filed directly with the carrier's insurer.
8. Cancellations
8.1 No Carrier Assignment
If no carrier is assigned within the agreed timeframe, you may cancel without penalty and receive a full refund.
8.2 Written Cancellation
All cancellations must be submitted in writing (email or SMS). Verbal cancellations are not accepted.
8.3 Carrier Assignment
If a carrier has already been assigned, cancellation fees may apply.
8.4 Refund Processing
Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 2 business days.
8.5 Marine Carrier Cancellations
For shipments involving third-party marine carriers (e.g., to Hawaii or Alaska), cancellations after assignment may incur additional fees.
Final Notes
By booking with Enova Logix, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. Our role is to arrange safe, reliable vehicle transport by connecting customers with professional carriers, while ensuring transparency, fair pricing, and respectful service at every stage.
